Want to check on the status of your submitted manuscript? Now it’s easier than ever!
All contributing authors on submitted AAS journal manuscripts can check the status of their manuscript by logging on to http://aas.msubmit.net. You can find the manuscript status by visiting the “Live Manuscripts” folder, clicking the manuscript number, and checking the “Current Stage” section.
This feature — newly enhanced! — now allows authors to see when their manuscript is being assigned to a Scientific Editor (SE), when the SE is finding a peer reviewer for the manuscript, and when it’s under review, and when a decision has been made by the SE.
Our goal is increased transparency around what’s happening with your manuscript, as well as to ensure that all involved authors are able to access information about their manuscript.
